Wings on Sunday are 50cents they are sooo good. Live music certain nights ( we always enjoyed it) the have outdoor area which we thoroughly enjoyed sit around talk n relax with a beer n wings doesn't get better than that. Everyone was friendly. Go early the place get packed.
Wonderful little bar with great food and the servers are always wonderful. The owner goes out of her way to make sure everybody has a great time there. If you're in the area you sure go stop in and check it out.

Husband and I found this gem yesterday! When we entered for our late lunch the gal behind the bar stated to sit where ever we liked. She immediately brought over menus and took our drink orders. Had a few questions and she answered them in full detail. Our food was brought out in a timely fashion. It was hot and smelled as good as it tasted. Shrimp Poor Boy for me and Philly Steak for hubby. Waffle fries as both our sides. After she told us about the Armadillo Egg we took the plunge and had one brought out with our food. It did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food received. The place was very clean and the service satisfied both of us. Thank you!
We were passing through and this came up. It was a Sunday night about 8 pm. The kitchen was basically closed other than pizza. Obviously a local hang out full of friendly people and great live music. Nothing fancy but everyone was very welcoming. We ordered a pizza which was awesome. Perfect for 2! Would definitely recommend!

Wow. Our first time eating here. Will be back often. The staff was amazing… greeted with smiles. Great service. We had rib eye, fried green tomatoes, crab cakes, and armadillo eggs. So delicious!!

After driving from Georgia and spending the afternoon hiking in Shawnee National Forest, we were looking for some local food in Marion, Illinois. The Log Cabin Tavern had a festive atmosphere filled with locals capping off their Wednesday with dinner and a cold beverage. I had the special (beef chips on toast covered with white sauce) while my girlfriend had the shrimp po’ boy. We also had fried banana peppers as an appetizer. The food was great, service was awesome and we enjoyed a couple games of pool before calling it a day. If you are on interstate 57 or staying in Marion, we recommend this local bar and grill!
08/12/2024 We had excellent service. I had a garlic burger with fries. My husband had the special which was a BBQ rib sandwich topped with slaw, came with their house chips. Everything was delicious. I must add that the chips were by far the best we've had. Perfectly cooked, crispy not hard and chewy like others we've had. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating areas are very nicely done.
